Hi guys🤩! It’s been awhile since our last blog post, but not to worry we’ll will be resuming the blog with it’s monthly product reviews.
For this month, I’ll be reviewing a limited edition set, the SD Sangoku Soketsuden DX (Set 1) !
To begin with, this limited edition kit looks lit with its shiny parts. This series has very little stickers but more clear parts to work with.
My personal favorite amongst the 3 is probably Liu Bei, maybe cause I’ve always been a big fan of his ambitious and charismatic personality 😩🤪 From the built of his head to the body, doesn’t he look so good with the shiny parts 🤤✨
The back of Liu Bei allows more weapons to be mounted onto him.
When he’s fully assembled, you’ll be able to notice from his face that he is youngest amongst the others due to the lack of a beard 🥺🥺🥺
Next up Guan Yu. There are various clear parts in the model and the green is really giving the character of Guan Yu. The build is rather simple and it took about less than half an hour. Compared to the other 2 models, Guan Yu color and design really stands out.
Similar to Liu Bei, Guan Yu is able to mount weapons to his back. When you shine light above him the shadow he makes will be green too due to the transparent clear parts.
Although a personal favorite amongst my colleagues, Liu Bei is still better in my eyes 🤪🤪🤪
Last out of the 3 in Set 1 is Zhang Fei. Compared to Guan Yu, his beard is more clean. His kit also comes with clear red transparent parts to represent the fire element for the character. (or that he is dam hot 🔥😩🔥😩) Not to mention, the blings from the shiny parts really complements the flames.
If you want to admire Zhang Fei full body without the spear, you are able to mount the spear behind him.
